This Payroll Specialist Position Features:

  • Contract to Hire
  • Decatur, IL – On-site
  • Mon-Fri; 8am-5pm
  • Great Pay to $20/hr

Job Responsibilities:
– Process US and Canadian payroll, with accuracy and timeliness
– Complete and balance all required payroll reconciliations with accuracy and timeliness
– Complete accurately Form 941, W2, T4, and other relevant tax documentation for all subsidiaries
– Maintain data compliantly and securely
– Ensure accurate process documentation inclusive of manuals and SOP’s
– Serve as secondary processor for US and Canadian non-exempt payrolls
– Collaborate with management and other departments across the organization for top notch customer service

Job Requirements:
– Minimum of three years of general office/accounting experience; payroll experience preferred
– Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
– Intermediate understanding of accounting/mathematical procedures is required
– Excellent communication skills in writing and speaking forms
– Knowledge of IBM (CICS & IMS) and MDM systems
– Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
