About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Support the accounting team with administrative tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with accounting software
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
