Title: Travel Risk Specialist – Corporate Security & Global Risk (Hybrid)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Pay: $47.18
Hours are: 7AM -3 PM /8AM- 4PM EST OR 10AM -7PM/11AM -8PM EST
A Top 5 Global Financial Institution is seeking a Travel Risk Specialist to join its Corporate Security Intelligence & Risk Analysis (CSIRA) team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety and security of employees traveling internationally across 100+ countries. You will review travel requests, monitor global incidents, and support crisis-response operations during events that may impact our travelers.
What You’ll Do
Review travel itineraries to elevated-risk destinations and ensure compliance with corporate travel requirements
Monitor the Global Travel Risk inbox and respond to traveler inquiries promptly and professionally
Use platforms such as Crisis24, Worldcue, Everbridge, International SOS, Factal, and others to track global incidents
Communicate with travelers and stakeholders during potential or active disruptions
Document all actions thoroughly and accurately in accordance with established protocols
Draft and publish Travel Risk Advisories
Support crisis management operations during major incidents, including occasional work outside normal hours
Maintain and update country risk ratings and hotel security assessments
Collaborate with internal intelligence specialists and global security teams to share information and identify emerging travel risks
What We’re Looking For
Experience in corporate security, global travel risk, GSOC, intelligence, emergency management, or related fields
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft concise, professional advisories and executive-level communications
Proven ability to make independent, well-informed decisions and escalate issues appropriately
Ability to operate effectively with minimal supervision in fast-paced or ambiguous situations
Familiarity with travel risk platforms (Crisis24/Worldcue, Everbridge, ISOS, Factal, etc.) is strongly preferred
Educational or professional background in international affairs, intelligence, risk, or security
Flexibility to support crisis operations outside normal business hours when required
