Financial Crimes Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC – Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Company: Top 5 Global Financial Institution
Pay: up to $60/hr

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Crimes Project Manager to drive large-scale, enterprise-level initiatives across multiple lines of business. This is a senior, functional (non-technical) leadership role requiring strategic thinking, strong change management capabilities, and the ability to influence and guide executives.
You will oversee transformative programs, manage complex workstreams, and deliver solutions with long-term impact across the organization.

Responsibilities
Advise senior leadership on program strategy, prioritization, and change management.
Lead resolution of highly complex challenges with significant business impact.
Manage program planning, risk assessments, financial, governance, and executive reporting.
Influence and partner with executive stakeholders to drive alignment and successful delivery.
Provide strategic insight and program leadership for enterprise-wide business solutions.
Oversee workstreams related to financial crime risk, regulatory requirements, and cross-business initiatives.

Required Qualifications
7+ years of Program/Project Management, Strategic Planning, or equivalent leadership experience.
Desired Qualifications
Financial Services experience within a matrixed, enterprise environment.
Proven success leading large-scale, multi-business-line initiatives.
Experience with Financial Crimes Risk Management (AML, BSA, Sanctions, Fraud) strongly preferred.
Strong change management, consulting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Agile background with the ability to operate in hybrid delivery models.
Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills.
Ability to operate independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence outcomes.
Financial crimes domain experience is a major plus.
