Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. You will remain visible throughout your shift, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
  • Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual circumstances encountered during patrols.
  • Communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff to address inquiries and provide assistance as needed.
  • Follow Allied Universal protocols for documentation and incident reporting.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
  • Assist with emergency response activities, including evacuations and coordination with first responders when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
