2nd Shift Warehouse Clerk – Direct Hire – $18/hr 2:30pm–11pm, Monday–Friday

Forklift experience required

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk for a direct hire position with a busy distribution operation. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in forklift operation, material handling, warehouse inventory, shipping and receiving, and barcode scanning. If you have forklift experience, you will be prioritized for this role.

Position Details

Title: Warehouse Clerk
Shift: 2:30pm–11:00pm, Monday–Friday
Pay: $18/hr
Requirements: Must pass physical and background check upon selection

Why You Will Stand Out

Candidates with forklift experience—including sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or pallet jack—are preferred. Forklift competence is strongly preferred and highly valued for this position.

Essential Duties

Operate powered industrial trucks using levers and pedals to drive, lift, and move materials

Position forks or lifting devices under, around, or over materials to transport products to designated areas

Use barcode scanning equipment to track inventory and supply materials to production teams

Weigh materials and record data on tags, labels, or production documents

Load and unload materials from pallets, racks, and equipment by hand or with a forklift

Recharge or maintain forklift batteries or replace gas tanks

Read production schedules, customer orders, shipping requests, and requisitions

Move, stack, and unstack materials within warehouse and production areas

Sort and organize materials on racks and shelves

Fill requisitions and deliver materials to assembly or production staff

Mark materials with identifying information

Open crates, boxes, and containers

Record received or distributed materials

Perform data entry and print shipping labels

Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures

Report unsafe actions or conditions

Perform other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications

Warehouse experience required

Forklift experience strongly preferred

Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck certification

Basic computer and data-entry skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Ability to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, and climb as needed during shift

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Work Environment

Exposure to moving mechanical parts

Loud noise levels

Possible exposure to fumes, airborne particles, and outdoor conditions

Fast-paced warehouse and production setting
