Growing and dynamic Engineering company is looking to hire Part’s Inspector’s Entry Level
Seeking applicants with experience in parts and inspections in Aerospace, Engineering, Production, Manufacturing, Aviation or similar environment inspecting miniature components or small-scale parts
Minimum Qualifications:
-High School diploma or GED
-Proficient reading, writing, math, and mechanical reasoning skills
-Detail-oriented, organized, ability to perform multiple tasks
-Ability to react to changing demands and deadlines
-High sense of urgency with a focus on maximizing safety & quality
-Able to operate common hand tools
A Plus But Not Required:
-Proficient with measuring tools, possess the ability to interpret technical Engineering drawings, with a strong mechanical aptitude to allow them to identify non-conformities or defects due the manufacturing process
-Experience using AQL sampling systems, using a CMM or Optical Comparator, and experience using electrical testing equipment
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following: (Other duties may be assigned):
-Utilize measurement tools including but not limited to Calipers, Thread Gauges, Micrometers, Surface Gauges, to accurately check dimensions of components
-Interpret Engineering drawings, record measurements, and confirm all dimensions conform to the drawing specifications
-Identify, record, and document any discrepancies between measured dimensions and drawing dimensions
-Notify Engineering and present discrepancy reports detailing any non-conformities
-Use Electrical Testing Equipment such as a Hi-Pot or Megohmmeter to verify conformance of insulation materials to specifications
-Produces precision units according to product specifications (SA1 and TL1) using schematics and other directions for assembly
-Reads engineering drawings and/or work orders for product specifications such as dimensions and tolerances, and tooling instructions such as fixtures and gauges.
-Document completed operations on the Production Traveler and updated the PSR
-Perform all required general quality inspections
-Completes tasks in accordance with provided instruction guide
-Notify the supervisor or lead of any machine or process-related concerns, including safety-related concerns and near misses
-Attend daily safety meeting
