As a Security Officer – Front Desk Operations Tech in Playa Vista, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech and media location, you will be the first point of contact, providing a welcoming presence while overseeing access control and monitoring visitor activity. Your role will help to deter security-related incidents through strong communication and exceptional customer service, embodying our values of integrity, teamwork, and a people-first approach in a dynamic, innovative environment.

What You’ll Do:
- Greet and assist employees, visitors, and guests at the front desk, providing a welcoming and professional presence.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and credentials as required by site-specific policies.
- Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain order within the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, visitor logs, and incident reports.
- Communicate clearly and courteously with clients, staff, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information about site policies.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following Allied Universal protocols and client guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
