Seeking an organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to become a vital member of our Operations team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our esteemed partners, including our 3PL warehouses, domestic freight forwarders, and sales department. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around efficiently handling purchase orders, meticulously reviewing all pertinent details, and orchestrating seamless transportation logistics to guarantee timely shipment deliveries. Key Responsibilities: Process Purchase Orders: Manage purchase orders within our Transportation Management System (TMS), coordinating with freight carriers to plan and schedule shipments. Negotiate rates, optimize route planning, and ensure timely delivery based on customer requirements. Maintain Shipment Updates: Keep accurate records of shipments, provide in-transit notifications, tracking delays, and estimating delivery times. Communicate effectively with receivers and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination. Collaborate with Freight Forwarders: Work closely with freight forwarders to expedite shipments, prioritize deliveries, and minimize costs. Balancing efficiency and cost-effectiveness is key while ensuring on-time delivery. Resolve Discrepancies: Audit invoices and collaborate with the accounting team to address any discrepancies, claims, or issues related to 3PL services, ensuring accurate financial records. Support Departments: Provide support to the Imports and Accounting departments as needed, contributing to various tasks and projects to maintain operational efficiency.
