Westside e-commerce company is looking to hire an Accounts Payable (A/P) Specialist – On-Site Only.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM
Work Arrangement: On-site only (no remote work)
Location: Santa Monica
Salary: $55,000 – 65,000

A small but global manufacturing company seeking an organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to support our growing finance team. This role is ideal for a college graduate in business, finance, economics, or accounting—or an experienced A/P professional looking to take on more responsibility.

What You’ll Do

Process and approve payments (checks, ACH, wires, credit cards, petty cash)

Audit, verify, classify, and enter A/P transactions into QuickBooks

Reconcile A/P subledger to the general ledger and resolve discrepancies

Track invoices, vendor payments (including overseas factories), and maintain the billing inbox

Assist with monthly and quarterly closes

Maintain financial records, support insurance administration, and ensure property tax payments are on time

Provide documents for credit applications and other corporate needs

Perform general administrative tasks (filing, scanning, organizing)

What We’re Looking For

Degree in accounting/business preferred, not required

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups required)

QuickBooks, Word, and Outlook proficiency

Ability to learn quickly and support process improvements

Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort handling confidential information

Typing speed of at least 45 WPM (65+ preferred)
