2025-2026 Lecturer in Japanese Cultural Studies University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10744 The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures (ALC) at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Japanese cultural studies starting spring 2026. Percentage and duration of employment will vary according to number of courses assigned. Qualified candidates must have native or near-native proficiency in Japanese and English. Candidates should have an Ph.D. degree in Japanese literature, Japanese cultural studies, or other related areas. At least two years of experience in teaching multiple levels of Japanese cultural studies courses at a university is desirable.
