Location: Paramount, CA 90723
Pay Rate: $19.57 – $26.05/hr
Dress Code: Business Casual
Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About the Role

We are seeking a Print Support Specialist / First Responder to provide on-site support for multifunction devices (MFDs) and printers within a school district environment. This role requires traveling between multiple school sites during the workday using a company-assigned vehicle.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, manage priorities without close supervision, and provide excellent customer service to school staff and administrators.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as first responder for printer and MFD service requests

Travel to various school sites to support devices

Troubleshoot printer issues, including clearing paper jams and basic repairs

Deliver and replace supplies such as toner and paper

Lift and move paper boxes and equipment (up to 50 lbs)

Maintain accurate service reports using computer systems

Communicate clearly with school staff and stakeholders

Prepare and deliver PowerPoint presentations when required

Ensure devices are operating efficiently and safely

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 3 years of related experience (5 years preferred)

Experience supporting printers, copiers, or technical equipment

Strong customer service and communication skills

Comfortable working independently and traveling between locations

Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Preferred Skills

Experience in school districts or educational environments

Familiarity with large-format printers, copiers, or office equipment

Ability to calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain complex office equipment

Presentation and communication skills (PowerPoint)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Office and school campus environments

Frequent walking, standing, bending, and reaching

Occasional lifting up to 70 lbs (cases of paper)

Use of basic hand tools and office equipment

Moderate dexterity required (keyboard, tools, eye-hand coordination)

Additional Information

Must maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
