Branch Manager – New Branch Opening
Location: Santa Barbara, CA
Schedule: Onsite, Full-Time
About the Role:
We are excited to open a new bank branch and are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to lead this launch. This is a unique opportunity to build a team from the ground up, establish operational excellence, and drive growth in a new market.
The Branch Manager will oversee all aspects of branch operations, sales, and customer service while ensuring compliance with banking regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leadership & Team Development:
• Hire, train, and develop the entire branch staff.
• Foster a strong sales and service culture through coaching and mentoring.
• Branch Operations:
• Ensure efficient daily operations, risk management, and compliance.
• Implement cost controls and monitor branch profitability.
• Sales & Business Development:
• Drive branch growth through community engagement and relationship building.
• Execute sales strategies and support cross-selling initiatives.
• Customer Experience:
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional service.
• Resolve complex customer issues and ensure satisfaction.
• Community Outreach:
• Represent the bank in local events and volunteer programs.
Qualifications:
• Proven sales ability and documented branch growth
• Minimum of 7 years in a branch environment
• Minimum of 5 years branch management experience
• Experience in hiring, training, coaching and performance management of employees
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance.
• Proven success in sales, customer service, and operational management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and banking systems.
• Ability to travel locally during business hours; occasional overnight travel.
• Community involvement experience preferred.
• Requires the ability to work flexible hours in some cases beyond scheduled hours
