As a Security Officer – Front Desk Ambassador in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and tenants, providing exceptional customer service and communication. You will monitor access, manage badge systems, and respond to security-related incidents. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants at the front desk by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
- Monitor access to the location, verifying identification and granting entry to authorized individuals.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the front desk in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Maintain accurate records of visitor and contractor sign-ins and sign-outs.
- Assist with emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and/or site management.
- Communicate professionally with building staff, tenants, and visitors to address inquiries and provide information.
- Observe and report any irregularities or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
