Health Sciences Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor Neurohospitalist (Inpatient Neurology / Stroke) University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF10774 The Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) is recruiting neurohospitalist faculty at the Assistant or Associate Clinical Professor level (Health Sciences Clinical Series). These positions support the continued expansion of our inpatient neurology and stroke services across the UCLA Health system. Position Overview Faculty will provide inpatient neurology care, with a core clinical focus on the evaluation and management of acute neurological disorders, including stroke and cerebrovascular disease. The role emphasizes collaborative, high-acuity inpatient care within a leading academic medical center. Clinical activities will take place at UCLA affiliated hospitals, including UCLA Santa Monica Hospital and UCLA West Valley Hospital. Qualifications M.D. or D.O. (or equivalent) with board certification/eligibility in Neurology Completion of a neurology subspecialty fellowship with substantial inpatient experience (e.g., vascular neurology, neurohospitalist, epilepsy, neurophysiology, or related fields) Demonstrated ability to manage acute stroke care and general inpatient neurology Strong commitment to team-based care in a high-volume, multidisciplinary environment Academic Environment UCLA Neurology is a nationally recognized, high-volume clinical department with broad clinical and research strengths. Neurohospitalists work closely with vascular neurology, neurosurgery, neurocritical care, internal medicine, and rehabilitation services, and play a key role in resident and student education. Salary The salary range for this position is $147,800 to $300,000 with the opportunity for higher earnings contingent on performance-based incentives.
