We are seeking a highly organized and culturally fluent Bilingual Administrative & Purchasing Liaison to serve as the vital link between our US-based technical teams and our parent company in Japan. This is a multifaceted role that combines administrative excellence, technical translation, and specialized purchasing management within the automotive sector.

The Role
You will act as the primary administrative engine for our Technical and Auto Parts QA departments. Your goal is to ensure seamless communication and operational flow between our Georgia plant and international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
International Liaison: Serve as the lead point of contact between local technical teams and the Japanese parent company; translate and interpret technical documents, emails, and meetings.

Executive Coordination: Host and coordinate visits for international vendors and expatriates; manage sensitive project communications and customer-facing document approvals.

Purchasing Administration: Independently manage purchasing operations for the QA departments, including contract negotiations with third-party labor and oversight of invoice processing.

Logistics Management: Lead the international coordination and logistics for competitor tire purchasing and procurement.

Audit & Quality Support: Provide administrative support during international audits; assist quality engineering teams with documentation and compliance.

Global Travel: Participate in occasional international travel (Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia) to support meetings and audits.

Qualifications
Linguistic Mastery: Fluent, professional-level proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and oral) with the ability to translate complex technical content.

Administrative Tech Stack: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).

Industry Knowledge: Working understanding of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949/ISO 9001) and purchasing workflows.

Professionalism: Exceptional discretion when handling sensitive projects, high attention to detail, and elite time-management skills.

Education & Experience
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: * 5+ years of experience translating/interpreting technical content within the tire or automotive industry.

5–10 years of professional experience in purchasing or high-level administrative operations.
