Duration: 6 Months +EXT

Pay Rate: $20.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift – Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
(Flexibility required to cover 2nd shift as needed)

Job Overview:
Client is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Plant Operator I candidates to support production operations at its agricultural solutions facility. This role involves bulk loading, packaging, equipment handling, and general plant maintenance. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong work stability and a willingness to work extended shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load bulk tanker trucks with liquid products using automated bulk loading systems
  • Connect hoses to tanker compartments and pump product safely and accurately
  • Fill packaged orders, including totes, drums, and pails
  • Perform plant cleaning and housekeeping to maintain a safe, organised work environment
  • Assist with light maintenance tasks such as PVC piping installation and hose replacement
  • Operate forklifts (Certification provided)

Qualifications & Skills

  • High attention to detail
  • Strong reliability and attendance
  • Flexibility to support shift changes as needed
  • Mechanical aptitude (preferred)
  • Technical aptitude (preferred)
  • Ability to enter data on a tablet
  • Basic math skills
  • Forklift experience (preferred, not required)

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates should demonstrate stability in previous employment
  • Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
  • Willingness to cover 2nd shift when required
  • 2nd Shift Schedule: Sunday–Thursday, 5:00 PM–5:30 AM
