Mortgage Collections Specialist (Remote)

Hourly Rate: $22.00
Training Start Date: February 2, 2026
This position is responsible for managing delinquent mortgage accounts in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and investor regulations.
Essential Functions
Contact borrowers to resolve delinquent mortgage obligations
Evaluate and negotiate repayment and loss mitigation options per policy
Maintain detailed and accurate account documentation
Ensure compliance with FDCPA, TCPA, RESPA, CFPB, and investor guidelines
Escalate high-risk or potential fraud accounts as required
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure servicing continuity
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years of financial services collections experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Successful completion of required 5-week training and testing
Working knowledge of mortgage servicing and collections practices
Ability to work non-standard hours including evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
FHA, VA, and Conventional loan servicing experience
Familiarity with Regulation X, Z, V, E, and SCRA
