Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist
Location: Rochester, NY 14623
Pay Rate: $24.00/hr
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
Collections & Resolution: Resolve past-due invoices and manage returned receivables through inbound/outbound calls and emails.
Risk Mitigation: Balance high-quality customer service with effective collection tactics to minimize company financial exposure.
Dispute Management: Identify and resolve billing disputes by educating clients and partners on resolution processes.
Account Monitoring: Review daily payroll holds and contact clients regarding outstanding balances.
Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to department policies and internal procedures.
Qualifications:
Experience: 4+ years in customer service, finance, accounting, or payroll.
Note: A college degree may be considered in lieu of years of experience.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access preferred).
Soft Skills: Strong decision-making, organizational abilities, and clear communication.
