A Senior Subcontract Administrator is needed for a leader in the world of Technical Services and Engineering. Remote work. This is a Senior Federal Subcontracts Lead role requiring experience to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of complex construction and engineering subcontracts, ensuring strict adherence to FAR/CPSR compliance.

responsibilities:
- Act as the primary subcontract administrator for proposal efforts and awarded programs within the Engineered Systems Business Unit.
- Manage the full lifecycle of subcontracts independently, from initial solicitation and negotiation to final closeout.
- Draft and negotiate risk-averse subcontract agreements specifically for design-build and general construction work on federally funded programs.
- Ensure subcontractor compliance with federal performance requirements, including Davis-Bacon Act, bonding, and liquidated damages.
- Award and manage various contract types, including Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF), Time and Materials (T&M), and IDIQs.
- Maintain all subcontract files and agreements in strict accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) standards.
- Collaborate with Business Development to establish subcontractor teaming strategies and lead negotiations for teaming agreements.
- Prepare formal solicitation packages that include complex flow-down requirements from prime government contracts.

- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to successfully interact at all levels of a matrix organization; ability to develop relationships within all levels of the organization.
- Proven customer service skills.
- Ability to coach, train, and mentor other team members.
- Extensive organizational and time management skills, must be able to multi-task with a high degree of accuracy and detail in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to adjust quickly, adapt to changing priorities, and juggle multiple layers of competing priorities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- strong typing and computer skills in MS Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint as well as the ability to learn new computer applications.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Economics (or related field) and
- Typically 10+ years of diversified experience in all phases of procurement activities on large global engineering and construction projects.
