Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team is charged with delivering the company’s vision of a fully electric transportation future. RESPONSIBILITIES
What you’ll do…
• Team Leadership & Management: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing program management team, fostering collaboration and driving results. Manage resource allocations to ensure on-time delivery.
• Program Execution & Process Excellence: Champion and improve program processes, develop and execute full vehicle program delivery plans, lead program steering meetings and change forums, with ability to make critical decisions in the Chief Program Engineer’s (CPE’s) absence. Drive launch and quality disciplines.
• Strategic Planning & Business Acumen: Collaborate with the CPE on near-term business and content planning, addressing cycle plans and strategic issues. Effectively manage business complexity and mitigate risks.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence: Build and maintain strong relationships with teams across various departments (beyond Product Development) to ensure seamless program execution and alignment, including driving prototype builds and test planning.
QUALIFICATIONS
You’ll have…
• Extensive program management experience with a proven track record of successful program delivery across all phases (planning, studio, control, launch).
• Experience leading and mentoring global teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
Even better, you may have…
• Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA.
• Experience in design and release processes within the automotive industry.
• Deep understanding of automotive product development processes and interdependencies

This position is a leadership level 5 and ranges from $163,080-308,880.
