As a Security Officer – Medical Campus Patrol in Culver City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
  • Respond to alarms, calls for assistance, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, corridors, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
  • Control access points by verifying authorized entry, managing visitor check-in and/or badge procedures, and directing individuals to appropriate departments in accordance with site policy.
  • Document security-related activities, incidents, and observations in detailed reports and/or electronic systems, and communicate updates to supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Be able to provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
