As a Security Officer – Patrol Driver Response in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic event and equestrian location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, help to identify unusual activity, support access control, and provide clear communication and customer service to guests, staff, and vendors. What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, vendors, and staff by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, conflicts, and suspicious activity per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of arenas, barns, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized access and property damage.
- Monitor access points and gates, verify credentials as required, and assist with traffic flow during busy arrival and departure periods and/or special events.
- Document patrol activity, incidents, and service calls in written and/or electronic logs, and coordinate timely notifications with site leadership and local responders as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
