As an Allied Universal Security Officer at an automotive location, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will greet visitors, assist associates, and communicate clearly while documenting observations using a computer and/or tablet. Day Time Fri 07:00 AM – 03:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients at an automotive retail and/or service location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of showrooms, service bays, parking lots, vehicle inventory areas, and perimeter points; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
  • Monitor access points and visitor flow, help to deter unauthorized entry, and assist with after-hours locking and unlocking procedures per site policy.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, suspicious activity, and policy violations, and communicate relevant updates to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
