The Financial Analyst in this role will assist in managing deductions in customer payments taken from our direct customers impacting RBNA’s Accounts Receivable. This person will be responsible for the entire deduction process including researching and validating charges, data entry, disputes, and timely reconciliations. Be the lead contact with the sales team regarding deductions from our retailers.

  • DEDUCTION MANAGEMENT

    Assist with end-to-end deduction process for direct ship customers in order to classify trade expenses

    Research and reconcile deductions from customer payments to understand the types of deductions taken and dispute all invalid deductions

    High level of organization is required for all customer level deductions and disputes, which will include consistent follow-up

    Ability to work in team environment with key stakeholders across departments (Sales, Accounting and Operations) as well as with relevant retailer teams

    Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation and entry into CPM trade management system to avoid double or over-expensed agreements

    Provide Sales teams with monthly updates on deductions/disputes and the impact to their overall budgets

    Be able to optimize processes where necessary

  • REPORTING AND ANALYSIS

    Supports the manager in preparing/managing any ad-hoc reporting and/or coding requirement files to Sales teams

    Assists in posting expenses/invoices into CPM trade management system

    Analyze/review any risks/opportunities in Sales budgets with manager

EXPERIENCE
Your areas of knowledge and expertise

that matter most for this role:

  • 1 – 3 years’ experience in a finance and/or accounting role, experience in deduction management is a plus
  • IT literate, excellent MS Excel knowledge, familiarity with any integrated business analysis tool is a plus
  • Highly analytical, fast learner, positive attitude
  • Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities or trends
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • A structured and well-organized individual
  • Must be self-motivated and proactive and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced team environment
  • High performer with desire to learn
  • Travel 0-10%
