Description
You will report directly to our Materials Planning Manager and you’ll work out of our Torrance, California location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of the supply chain by ensuring that materials are available when needed, thus supporting production schedules and enhancing customer satisfaction.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and oversee comprehensive materials planning strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand production schedules, forecast demand, and establish effective procurement plans.
- Guide procurement activities, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
- 6 or more years of experience in materials planning, procurement, and logistics, with a track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in materials management software and ERP systems.
- Experience in managing and motivating a team to achieve operational goals.
WE VALUE
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- 6 or more years of experience managing, motivating, and guiding a team.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Expertise in material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

The annual base salary range for this position is $94,400.00 – $118,200.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
