TRAVEL: As Needed
SALARY: 165,000 to 185,000
Astrion is seeking an experienced program and acquisition management professional to manage the cost, schedule and performance for Department of Defense acquisitions from the commercial, industrial and/or military perspective.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Minimum 5 years of experience with two years supporting a space-related program.
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Science, Technology, Engineering, or Statistics.
- Active Security Clearance
- US. Citizenship
RESPONSIBILITIES
CAG / Acquisition Support Member will:
- Assess, develop, evaluate, and consolidate technical and programmatic responses from internal and external program stakeholders.
- Frequently interact with Air Force and DoD tools such as TMT, SMART, and DAMIR to initiate, track and close out various directorate, SSC, and Space Force Command taskers.
- Effective communication, planning, budgeting and programming skills to support ongoing and future Space Force Acquisitions.
- Be responsible for daily review/analysis/dissemination of tasks
- Use NIPR & SIPR Task Management Tool (TMT) & e-mail to retrieve/assign tasks
- Update tasker database, which will be provided to leadership at the end of each day
- Assemble and provide instruction on the assembly of Staff Summary Sheet (SSS) package
- Effectively communicate with offices at each leadership level (Directorate, Center, MAJCOM, SF, DoD)
- Prepare briefing slides for weekly leadership council meetings
- Advise leadership on status of assigned deliverables
- Maintain appointment calendars and conference room schedules
- Assess acquisition planning documents such as acquisition strategies, RFPs and CDRLs
- Evaluate program solicitation documentation, such as acquisition strategies and provide recommendation
- Assist with performing market research
