As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support security-related operations with professionalism and strong communication. In this access control role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering customer service. What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery traffic in accordance with access control procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Support security-related operations at a logistics and distribution location by observing activity at gates, loading areas, and other restricted points, and reporting unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned, noting operational, maintenance, and/or security-related issues that may require attention.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
