As a Security Officer – Bike Patrol in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas by vehicle and on bike, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:
Day Time Mon 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Tue 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Wed 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Thur 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM Fri 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM
What You’ll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and actions taken.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
  • Support public-facing operations by assisting visitors, employees, and authorized personnel with directions, information, and other security-related needs while maintaining professional conduct.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be able to ride a bike.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
