Job Summary Research Technician position for the development of quantum Monte Carlo algorithms as directed by Professor Sandeep Sharma in the Division of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. Essential Job Duties Develop and maintain auxiliary field quantum Monte Carlo algorithm. Use the algorithm for transition metal containing molecules. Present findings and progress in group meetings. Implement linear scaling algorithm. Other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications BS in chemistry, physics, or related field. At least 2 years of experience developing quantum Monte Carlo algorithms. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Python programming experience. GPU programming experience using JAX or PyTorch. Eagerness to learn and develop new skills. Preferred Qualifications Have published scientific articles in fields related to quantum Monte Carlo.
