An innovative energy company is seeking a Electrical Compliance Engineer to join their team in Cerritos, CA. This position will be part of an exciting team that is designing new and existing products and their respective components, testing equipment and tooling. responsibilities:
- Create clear timelines and milestones to get new products certified and ready for clients
- Inspect blueprints and wiring early to ensure parts are spaced safely and grounded correctly
- Verify that both the physical parts and internal code include “fail-safes” to prevent safety concerns
- Manage testing to ensure electronics meet specifications
- Act as main point of contact for external testing labs and official inspectors to move products through the finish line
Qualifications
- Must have experience moving product from design all the way to product roll out
- Expert knowledge of UL/Intek
- 8+ years of experience in regulatory compliance or product certification
