Eaton’s AER FED Fluid Electrical Distribution division is currently seeking a Electrical Tester – 1st Shift to join our team in Torrance, CA!
The core hours are 6 am – 2:30 pm.
The hourly rate for this position is $30.96 per hour.

What you’ll do:
The Electrical Tester is responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of power distribution units through comprehensive testing and analysis.
In this role, you will:
- Conduct electrical testing on power distribution units to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
- Perform diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot issues within the units.
- Document test results and prepare detailed reports for review by engineering and quality assurance teams.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address and resolve any identified issues.
- Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of testing procedures and protocols.
Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- Technical Degree/Certification and/or an Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of electrical testing experience

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical testing or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with power distribution units and related components.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in using testing equipment and software.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
