UCLA Department of Economics-Part-Time Lecturer University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF11046 The Department of Economics in the UCLA College of Letters and Sciences invites highly qualified applicants for non-senate positions as Lecturers for the 2026-2027 academic year. This is a non-tenure track appointment. Lectureship appointments are part-time and made quarter by quarter, as dictated by instructional needs. Responsibilities will include teaching (lecture, regularly scheduled office hours, writing and grading exams, etc.). Qualified candidates must have a significant number of years of teaching experience, a demonstrated record of excellent undergraduate teaching or proven expertise in the following specializations: industrial organization, economics of law, and finance. Candidates are expected to have a master’s degree in economics or comparable sophistication. The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and step at appointment. See Table 15.
