Join our team as an Entry-Level Boilermaker and begin a career in heavy industrial construction, maintenance, and mechanical systems. You’ll work alongside experienced tradesmen to assemble, install, maintain, and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and large industrial systems used in power plants, refineries, manufacturing facilities, and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance:

· Assist with assembling, installing, and repairing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and industrial piping systems.

· Load, transport, and organize tools, rigging equipment, steel components, and materials on industrial job sites.

· Operate hand tools, power tools, grinders, cutting torches, and welding equipment safely.

· Support senior boilermakers during shutdowns, maintenance projects, and equipment repairs.

· Assist with rigging, hoisting, aligning, and fitting large industrial components.

· Perform basic inspections, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on industrial systems.

Safety and Compliance:

· Attend daily safety meetings and follow OSHA and industrial site safety procedures.

· Wear required PPE including hard hats, gloves, respirators, hearing protection, harnesses, and steel-toe boots.

· Follow confined space, lockout/tagout, hot work, and fall protection procedures.

· Maintain clean and organized work areas to support safe industrial operations.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Assist with maintenance records, work orders, and material tracking.

· Report equipment issues, safety hazards, or operational concerns promptly.

· Support supervisors with project progress updates and inspection documentation.

Work Environment and Expectations

This position requires physically demanding labor in industrial environments including refineries, power plants, factories, and construction sites. Work may involve climbing, confined spaces, elevated work areas, extreme temperatures, and lifting heavy materials. Travel, overtime, shutdown work, and night shifts may be required depending on project schedules.

Requirements

· Must be at least 18 years old.

· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

· Ability to lift up to 80 lbs repeatedly throughout the workday.

· Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in industrial environments.

· Ability to work overtime, travel, and flexible schedules as needed.

· Willingness to learn industrial mechanical systems and safety procedures.

· Must pass a drug and background check. 

Job Type: Full-time; Benefits: Health insurance, paid apprenticeship training, overtime opportunities, travel pay, per diem opportunities, retirement plans, and advancement into skilled industrial trades; Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime, shutdown schedules, travel assignments, nights, and weekends as required.
