UCLA Global Jazz Studies 2026-27 Part-Time Lecturer in Jazz Performance: Saxophone University of California Los Angeles Requisition Number: JPF11105 The UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music’s Global Jazz Studies IDP invites applications for a part-time lecturer position in Instruction in Advanced Jazz Performance: Saxophone for the 2026-27 academic year. Salary commensurate with applicant qualifications and experience; percentage of appointment commensurate with teaching load. Applicants should have advanced expertise in group and solo instruction of a diverse mixture of jazz saxophone at the university level. Candidate should have knowledge of jazz repertoire, concepts, and techniques through private lessons on specific instruments. Responsibilities will include individual student instruction. University teaching experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree preferred.
