The Role
Reporting to the Planning Manager, the Planner I supports day-to-day production planning activities for an assigned area or value stream at the Garden Grove site. The role follows established planning procedures to maintain accurate work order, schedule, and inventory information in ERP/MRP systems; assists with routine production schedule updates; reviews material availability using standard tools; and communicates issues to the appropriate planner, scheduler, supervisor, or manager. This position performs defined tasks under guidance and supports on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, quality, and safety expectations through accurate data entry, timely follow-up, and clear communication.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting / Engineering or related field, Preferred+
  • APICS CPIM/CSCP, Six Sigma, PMP, preferred
  • 1-2+ years of manufacturing operations experience, including production planning, inventory management, and capacity planning, required
  • 1-2+ years experience Demonstrated experience in a planning role within a manufacturing environment, required
  • 1+ years basic hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems in a production environment (QAD preferred), preferred

Saint-Gobain aims to deliver a comprehensive Total Rewards package to support our employees’ well-being and help improve daily life for themselves and their families. We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the local pay range for this position, which is $72,500 to $111,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $79,025 to $123,654. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
