Job Description The Clinical Partner (CP), under the direction of a licensed care giver, and after education and demonstration of competency, performs a variety of direct patient care activities or tasks specific to the unit/needs of the patient population. The CP maintains competency skills including the ability to provide care to special patient populations and patients with diverse cultural backgrounds. The CP can identify the ability of the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient to follow directions/instructions. The CP can identify safety concerns in the age related population and institutes additional measures to provide a safe environment; and identify developmental milestones in the age related population. Qualifications Education High School Diploma/GED – Required Assoc. Degree/College Diploma – preferred Experience 1 year Acute/Subacute / Convalescent /Nursing homes – preferred Licenses and Certifications Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) – Required Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) Certificate – Required Basic Life Support (BLS) – required BCLS Certification Emergency Medical Technician – Required, Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification in lieu of CNA – Emergency Department Only Required.
