Make a difference in Imaging! As a CT Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 8-hour weekday and weekend day shifts on a rotating basis. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses Siemens computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient?s internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues. Summary of Essential Duties: Accurately interpret a physician?s scanning instructions Administer contrast material Prepare and operate CT scan equipment Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading Cleans and disinfects patient rooms Follow infection control and safety guidelines We are currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus to newly hired Techs! Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required License/Certifications: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiologist certification (ARRT-R) required California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT certification (ARRT-CT) required Applicants with no CT certification may be considered as a Tech I Venipuncture certification required Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist required At least 6 months of experience with Siemens brand scanners preferred Applicants with less than 2 years of experience may be considered as a Tech I Keywords: CT, Computed Tomography, Tech, Technician, Technologist, Imaging, Radiology, Healthcare, Hospital, Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA, California
