Your Role on the Team Position Summary: The 340B Program Manager will serve as a member of the Pharmacy Administration team and will be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Role and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Utilizing a thorough understanding of 340B regulations and best practices, the 340B Program Manager will provide oversight for UCI Health’s eligible entities within the 340B Drug Pricing Program. Responsibilities include management of the split billing software, management of the TPA (Third Party Administrator/s) portals for the 340B contract pharmacy networks, and system compliance within the 340B operations. This role will support and oversee the auditing practices and responsibilities of the program throughout the UCI Enterprise. This role will be responsible for leading and effectively strategizing work process of the day-to-day auditing, maintenance, financial reporting and other duties as they arise pertaining to the maintenance of the compliance of the program. The 340B Program Manager will collaborate with the Pharmacy Procurement, Revenue Cycle and Integrity teams to ensure their practices align with the regulatory compliance and requirements of the program. This individual will collaborate with the pharmacy leadership team to achieve department and organizational goals. Master’s degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training and/or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy Highly-advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage highly-complex information, assess problems, and develop effective solutions. Familiarity with core 3rd party data sets involving provider unit data, payer access data, analog sales data, etc. Familiarity with U.S. coverage, payment, and pricing dynamics (including government pricing). Familiarity U.S. site of care financial dynamics. Expert written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, concise manner in English. Ability to produce and deliver presentations to diverse audiences and senior leaders. Expert level analytical skills including quantitative modeling as well as proficiency in data visualization tools. Expert knowledge of 340B program, best practices, industry standards and regulatory requirements. Expert computer skills in Microsoft Office Demonstrated expertise in quantitative modeling involving pharmaceutical assets. Demonstrated experience in execution of quantitative primary market research. Demonstrated ability to integrate business and industry knowledge in developing creative solutions. Ability to translate raw data analysis into impactful reports and presentations with actionable insights. Ability to serve as an expert technical leader providing high level advice, counsel, and analysis on business intelligence issues. 4 years of quantitative analytical experience 340B Apexus Advanced Certificate Program (will be required within 6 months of hire) 3-5 years’ experience in purchasing, auditing, 340B compliance and/or 340B management Preferred Qualifications: Highly developed interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with senior leaders, professional and technical staff. Highly advanced organizational and project management skills. Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.
