Account Manager
The ideal candidate should be interested in tech, including the many intelligent applications across AI-enabled video surveillance, access control, etc., all of which are integral parts of solutions that solve business problems for our customers.
The successful candidate possesses an exceptional customer service attitude and is passionate about creating valuable business relationships founded on integrity. He or she should have good interpersonal skills and enjoy a team-based culture that is flat, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
- 1-2 years of prior sales experience
- in a related industry (Security/Tech sales)
- 1-2 years of B2B Sales Experience
- Excellent communication and
- interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales metrics and
- ability to problem-solve
Preferred Qualifications
- Discipline to work towards independent sales goals, and team spirit to help colleagues towards team goals.
- Understanding of how to create a sales plan, as well as making adjustments to the plan.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
- Good business acumen, independent, self-motivated, organized, and good at managing priorities.
- Must be customer-oriented, able to influence customers at all levels, and a strong teammate with a partnering mindset.
- Experience selling in technology industries is an asset.
Responsibilities:
Represent company as the complete portfolio expert for our product lines in the assigned industry segment.
- Field inbound and make outbound sales calls to prospective customers
- Generate leads at trade shows, events, and other lead-generation opportunities.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
- Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
- Giving sales presentations to prospective clients.
- Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
- Preparing sales orders
- Maintaining client records
- Becoming the first point of contact for dedicated client accounts. Answering client questions about credit terms, products, and availability.
