We’re partnering with a respected organization in the medical industry that is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their growing finance team. As the Accountant, you will report to the Accounting Manager and be responsible for a wide range of daily and monthly accounting tasks. Your responsibilities will include:
Managing Accounts Payable and Receivable
Handling revenue and expense accruals
Performing intercompany reconciliations
Maintaining fixed assets and calculating depreciation (Sage Intacct)
Supporting payroll processing and tax filings (Forms 941, 940, W-2s)
Preparing financial reports and conducting variance analysis
Assisting in budget development and year-end audit preparation
Industry Requirement:
Candidates must have prior accounting experience within the medical or healthcare industry.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
At least 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in medical or public for-profit environments
Solid understanding of GAAP and internal financial controls
Proficiency with Sage Intacct, Concur, Microsoft Excel, and HRIS systems
Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Experience collaborating with HR and other department leaders
