? About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Receivable (AR) and collections. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering stability, growth, and the chance to make a company-wide impact.

?? Responsibilities

Lead and manage AR and AP functions, with a primary focus on AR and collections.

Oversee billing, collections, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.

Manage check runs, post invoices, and monitor outstanding expenses.

Maintain and improve ERP systems and accounting automation processes.

Develop, train, and cross-train accounting staff for strong team performance.

Write and maintain AP/AR policies and procedures.

Serve as a key liaison between Finance, Sales, and regional leadership.

Collaborate across departments to balance sales goals with credit risk and enforce credit hold policies.

Provide coverage during PTO or peak workload periods.

Communicate effectively across all levels as a trusted business partner.

? Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience managing AR and AP, with strong AR/collections expertise.

Proven history of stability and growth in prior roles.

Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.

ERP system expertise (Epicor, NetSuite, or similar) — beyond QuickBooks.

Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Experience streamlining and automating accounting processes.

Ability to develop and implement accounting policies and procedures.
