We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized professional to manage the day-to-day financial transactions of our company, with a focus on both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
This role involves processing vendor invoices, managing payments, reconciling customer receipts, and supporting financial reporting and month-end closing tasks. Additionally, you will assist the Accounting Manager with audits and other key projects.
The ideal candidate will collaborate effectively with vendors, customers, and internal teams to maintain accurate financial records and ensure smooth financial operations. As a vital member of the accounting team, you will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial health and operational efficiency, working closely with the Accounting Manager.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Familiarity with AP/AR processes is a must.
- At least 3 years’ minimum work experience in accounting.
Education:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Accpac, or similar) and strong
Microsoft Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions).
Personal Attributes:
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when processing invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
