This Accounts Payable Clerk Position Features:
- Payrate: $25
*Mon-Fri 9am-5pm
*Temp to hire
Responsible for processing invoices, responding to vendor calls, and reconciling vendor accounts in order to help keep and increase the business.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process vendor invoices for payment.
- Vendor Returns – Requesting Credit copies from Vendor.
- Work with Distribution Center on Vendor Unapproved Payables
- Statement reconciliations.
- Assure that vendors are paid timely by meeting the five monthly check run deadlines.
- Interaction with branch management and Shared Services.
- Other AP Duties.
- Vendor Statements – Invoices/Credit Review (Vendors that are not reviewed by Shared Services)
- Negative Purchase orders – Stock/Direct
- Short/Over Vendor Shipments
- Open Payables – Primarily KCDC/KPJH
- Unbilled Stock Receipt Report
- Trade Credit Holds
Qualifications Required:
- Knowledge of General Ledger is a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Time management skills.
- Proficient in Excel and Word.
