MILITARY VETERANS
We are looking for an organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Aerospace Leadership team in Sylmar, California. You will provide critical administrative support, working closely with leadership to compile and analyze information, prepare reports, and create presentation materials. You will help manage communications and liaise with high-level contacts, requiring independent judgment and effective decision-making. You will report to the Senior Administrative Assistant.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leadership team and others (extended LT or direct reports to LT) with daily clerical tasks.
- Plan meetings (internal and external), venues, food, and beverage.
- Screen minimal phone calls, provide information to callers or connect callers to appropriate people.
- Schedule appointments and update calendars.
- Make travel arrangements and reservations for leadership team members.
- Compose and type reports and correspondence.
- Create spreadsheets and presentations as directed.
- Maintain daily time keeping observing applicable policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of administrative experience at executive level.
- In-depth understanding of office management and daily operations.
- Effective business writing skills and communication etiquette.
- Proficiency with MSOffice including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- High degree of adherence to confidentiality is required.
The annual base salary range for this position is $50,000- $60,000 USD.
