The Administrative Assistant II position at the Center for Economic and Social (CESR) research at the Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences will serve as a supporting operations staff, ensuring the effective execution of administrative policies and procedures. The job responsibilities include: Assists with the overall function and management of the office by performing administrative duties, such as responding to front desk inquiries, scheduling and coordinating meetings, travel arrangements, etc. Coordinates conferences, seminars, and other public relations functions. Arranges with vendors for sites, facilities, catering, guest accommodations, etc. Interacts with university offices and sub-contractors outside of the university to facilitate communications, and initiates follow-up if necessary. Composes and produces a variety of business correspondence, reports, and/or forms. Assists in contracts and grants administration through budget preparation, budget monitoring, and through the preparation and submission of reports. Interacts with university contract administrators and funding agency officers to provide information, resolve problems, and coordinate on-site visits. Assists in maintaining office equipment and purchases.
