This Administrative Assistant Position Features:
- On-site in Westwego, LA
- 1st shift (2 am to 4 pm, Mon-Friday)
- $17/hr to $20/hr
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Seeking a dedicated person with ability to compose emails, letters and memos with impeccable grammar and spelling. Problem-solving skills necessary to adapt to a rapidly-changing environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Computer competent, with demonstrated ability in the use of MS Office Suite software and applications within a Windows-based environment.
- Demonstrated solid knowledge in use of all office machines.
- Generating monthly invoices, monthly reports and assisting Project Managers and staff with reports and KPI capturing.
- Approving time cards for non-exempt employees.
- Creating and receiving purchase orders.
- Employee record keeping for the division, organizing and filing of multiple project files.
- Onboarding for New Hires, and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- Knowledge of ERP Systems preferred.
Job Requirements:
- Technical or business college degree with administrative assistant/business emphasis
- 2 – 3 year experience in office setting (or equivalent)
