Description
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, or a related field, and 7 years of industry experience maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, and installing Honeywell Distributed Control Systems.
- Full term of experience must include: maintaining, upgrading, troubleshooting, installing virtual systems with a high degree of precision in coordination of specialty Honeywell proprietary networks.
- Approximately 75% domestic travel required across 17 U.S. States.
- Telecommuting permitted when not at customer site.

Advanced Field Service Engineer for Honeywell International, Inc. in Wilmington, CA
Responsibilities:
- Lead successful on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems without direct supervision.
- Follow detailed work instructions and amend any outdated or incorrect instructions.
- Make improvements to training guides and documentation.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives in the field to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
- Train the customer on proper usage, troubleshooting, and basic repair procedures for complex equipment.
- Support the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems.
- Support revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development.
- Support cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment.
- Act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Assist in the audit, design, and solution of control sequences and solutions with customers.
- Validate customer requests. Educate customer and field technicians.
- Write documentation used by field technicians.
- Ensure Right and Fast Delivery. Inspect for Quality.
- Install or Repair Work Orders. Provide Customer Support.
- Mentor and Train Jr. Field Technicians and Service Representatives.
