A well-established, family-owned company located in a great area is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join its team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting financial operations in a collaborative and stable work environment.

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments. This position supports the finance team by maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, assisting with month-end close, and maintaining positive relationships with vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Process invoices, purchase orders, and other accounts payable transactions

Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and required approvals

Enter transactions into the accounting system and maintain accurate records

Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies

Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices

Respond to vendor inquiries in a professional manner

Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks

Maintain current knowledge of accounting standards and best practices

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Accounts Payable experience

Experience with Sage Intacct, Brex, Yooz, or similar accounting software

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently
