Our client is a well-established organization in Pasadena seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. About the Role

The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in supporting the company’s financial operations by ensuring invoices and payments are processed accurately and on time. This position works closely with internal teams and vendors, maintaining strong relationships while supporting month-end close activities.

Key Responsibilities

Process a high volume of invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests accurately and efficiently

Review invoices for accuracy, completeness, and proper authorization

Enter and maintain accounts payable data in the accounting system

Reconcile accounts and research/resolving discrepancies

Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors

Respond to vendor inquiries with professionalism and excellent customer service

Assist with month-end close and basic financial reporting tasks

Maintain compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and data security best practices

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience

Experience using Sage Intacct, Brex, Yooz, or similar accounting software

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Dependable, team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
