The Department of Ophthalmology/Roski Eye Institute, Keck School of Medicine of USC, is seeking a full-time, non tenure-track Optometrists at the assistant professor level to join our department. The successful candidates will have the academic title of Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology. Candidates are expected to provide high-quality optometry services at USC Roski Eye Institute and USC Village clinic. General Description: Optometrists re primary eye health care providers who examine, diagnose, treat, and manage diseases and disorders of the eye with the use of prescription glasses, contact lenses, devices, and medications. Functions : The specific functions will be in accordance with the Scope of Practice of Optometrists at Keck Medicine of USC. Minimum Qualifications: Obtained a Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree from an accredited School of Optometry. Hold a current valid license from the California Board of Optometry. Preferred Qualifications: Completion of a one-year residency program. Experience in ophthalmology, private practice, or academic environment. Exempt Position : The full-time faculty position is exempt, with an annual salary range of $90,000 to $110,000.
